Dear Doctor Bagley

I’m hopeful this is one way we turn around the broken healthcare system. I have a voice. You have a voice. Express your appreciation for those who deserve it. Also, express your dissatisfaction with those who deserve it. I also filed a formal complaint for one particular incident. Don’t be that guy who only complains. Give honest feedback for extraordinary service. Extraordinarily bad, and extraordinarily good. Hospitals take patient feedback seriously. Together we can make a difference. Dr. Bagley, Just a quick note to say THANK YOU You probably don’t remember helping me at UCSD Thorton IR on 2-11-2019 during

DMT May Rapidly Improve Depression, Anxiety, and Inflammatory Markers

According to a recent study[1] published in The American Journal Of Alcohol And Drug Abuse, 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (5-MeO-DMT) may improve depression and anxiety when administered in a group setting. In the Johns Hopkins University survey 80% of the participants found that the drug(medicine) improved anxiety and depression symptoms. Studies show that a significant portion of those with IBD, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis suffer from depression and/or anxiety. [2] I’d bet you a green smoothie that 100% of those with IBD have at some point suffered from depression and anxiety. I’d further bet you a mug of Bone Broth that 100% of

Causes of Inflammation – An Alternative Point of View

Causes of chronic inflammation – An Alternative Point of View Gut Flora Imbalance An imbalance of gut flora with too many “bad guys” producing toxins can create quite a reaction in your immune system. A large part of the immune system is in the gut lining. This is called the gastrointestinal associated lymphatic tissues (GALT). 80% of the antibodies in your body are made here. This makes sense as the outside world has somewhat easy access into the digestive tract by way of hitchhiking in, on food and drink. Bacterial population patterns in the human gut predict occurrence of a

IBD Treatment Guidelines Are Often Influenced By Financial Gains

The publication Gastroenterology & Endoscopy News published an article based on a new study that indicates many authors of clinical practice guidelines for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) have financial conflicts of interest.  Are you surprised? I’ve suspected this for years and am glad, and saddened that a study found this to be true. Glad because with this information now public the standards will hopefully raise the standards and put patient care first and foremost. Saddened because I can only imagine how many Crohn’s and Colitis patients have received substandard care, misguided treatments that could have resulted in unwanted surgery, or
